YES, u do need two sim card..

t809 is locked for tmobile..so..if u like to unlocked it to cingular

then put cingular simcard and do that step.

Thanx! I wanna try that but can u elaborate a little bit on step 7? What exactly do u mean by a SIM of a another carrier? Say Im trying to unlock the phone for a Cingular SIM card, do I need a SIM from another service provider or just another Cingular card? Basically I'm asking if I need two SIM cards, or am just really confused on what to do?

I've been looking around for soo long and finally found a code that worked! I feel it is my obligation to post it- good karma for me. Anyway its *2767*2878# Its worked so far. If anyone has anymore ifo about this code please post.

I also saw that post, wrote it down... then threw it away because I thought I wasn't getting the phone. Well I did get it and now I can't find the code again! Grr.. Whoever posted the unlock code for the Samsung T809 pulease tell us all again it would be Greatly appreciated!

i remember seeing it a while back where u can unlock the t809 to use with any sim but you have to reenter it if phone is powered off can anyone please tell me this code and how to enter it thanks.....
