    You need to unlock it with a unlock code. Nokia 3410 is a DCT 3 phone. You can use this generator:

    http://www.lur.nu/unlock/nokia_eng.php

    Scroll down to the DCT 3 section and enter your IMEI and the operator it is locked to.

    Dear sir, Myself Raj from India, u must contact to ur Customer Care Service & tell them ur mob no., & ask for PUK code, they will tell u PUK code without any charge. OK!

    need help here
    I'm totally new to pre paid phones so please bear with me here

    Last year in Netherlands I got a Nokia 3410 through Vodafone it is a trip phone that I haven't touched in about ten months, surprisingly the battery held charge. Now it asks for a PUK code. My research tells me to contact the customer service of my network or get another simcard. The Simcard I now have is of the 10euro variety so I'll willl simply get another one problem solved.
    Am I right on this?

    Second: is there a way to make this phone accept different company's simcards so I can use it elsewhere in EU or States?

    Any info is much appreciated
