    Its probably not your battery. Its your phone. Its messed up. If its still under warranty exchange it out for a new one thats all. A new battery isnt going to say that. If it doesnt work it just wont work.... Its the phone

    I have an LG VX3200. I bought an extended life battery for it b/c the original battery doesn't even last 10 minutes while talking on it. When I put the new battery into the phone, it tells me "Use genuine battery" and it will power back off. The battery that I bought says to use it w/ the phone that I have, so I'm confused of why I can't do that. Does anyone have an idea of how I can maybe 'unlock' the phone in some way to accept the battery, or is the battery just useless?
