Link to thread: Unlocking a CDMA Phone.

I don't know anything about your USB connection, but it probably does.

Im sorry I do not know the answer to your first question.

To add to your second question, it is technically possible, but, trust me, VERY DIFFICULT!

You would need to get a personnel at Telus to unlock your phone, because it is a CDMA phone it can ONLY be unlocked by Telus.

The chances of Telus unlocking the phone for you are slim to none, I have been trying to get an LG 535 unlocked for a few months, but to no prevail.

I personally have been told to try and bribe personnel, but they also would not accept my offer.

If you wish to persist and try to unlock the phone, I suggest going to either a Futureshop or Wireless Wave and TRY and get them to unlock it, but in most cases, they will refuse.

If you manage to get the phone unlocked, Bell will NOT activate the phone, so you would, once again, need to go to a Futureshop or Wireless Wave and get them to activate it, and tell them that it is indeed unlocked.

I believe the unlock code is referred to as the MSL, so that is the number you would need to ask them for.

Good luck with unlocking your phone to use at Bell!

Hope I could be of help!
