Well after a whole lot of research on this phone. You are in for a tough battle getting ringtones to it unless you can do it through an uploader tool like at fun for mobile or rumkins. I am sure these people here will know more about it than me. The one thing I did notice is that the new version of BitPim 0.8.08 had the LG c2000 listed now and are getting closer. I have not found anyone that has done it yet and with what software. I will keep searching and see if I can find something. I found people that said they did it,but did not tell how. Also when searching this forum found that it has been done through the internet, but one of the Moderators here said the the phone does not have very much memory so maybe that is one of your issues also. Way to big of file size. Do a search in these forums. Just type in LG c2000 and everything that has been posted on it will come up. Don't have time to read all that right now. Good luck.

I would change the bitrate to 48kbps as there is not much difference in sound and the file size will be smaller. Make sure the ringtone is no longer than 30 sec. make ones about 25 sec and try and then experiment. Make sure the file name is not too long and has no hyphons or anything like that, just to make sure. Try putting .mid and the end of the file name i.e badtothebone.mid. It will still be an MP3, but will trick the LG into thinking it is a .mid file. Have to do that on some LG's

I tried downloading a mp3 ringtone from my computer to the phone and the phone will not play the mp3. Does anybody know what the mp3 settings need to be so it will work on this phone. I have tried 128kbps and 92kbps and no luck. Do I have to change the sample rate also. Please help me if you can. Thank You
