yes, that's exactly what it's for, well that and loading java apps to your phone. it's a neat program, i have only gotten to dabble with it a little but there is a lot you can do with it. You can make your own ringtones by using programs like Hidden Content to edit existing midi files down to 30 seconds, and if you have knowledge of sheet music, write your own midi ringtones! (Those are the 'polyphonic' tones btw). I use Hidden Content to create mp3 ringtones from downloaded songs. If you hate webjal it's not the only "jal" out there (java application loader i think?)
