Well sure you did, you tried to steal it, and failed. Heheh That the fun of it, if you try and fail, the person you tried to steal from, gets what you tried to steal! It's a fun game of sorts.

Oh and everyone gets to see who tried to steal what from who, here...

That's not true. If your attempt to thief someone fails, you will lose the amount you were trying to take plus 2%. The fee is only 2%, which is $2 per hundred. So if you succeed, you pay the 2% fee but if you fail you lose your money.

:-P so does it really work?

Only one way to find out...

Actually it's a funny feature, the 'fee' they charge you to steal someone's money exceeds the amount you want to take.

    Sound STRANGE to any0ne?

Nah, we won't delete the thread. I'm sure other people have wondered the same thing but didn't speak up and ask. CPF is powered by a software called vBulletin that other forum sites also use, and Thief is a standard feature in the software, so we're not the only ones out there with it.

Thanks jeanie, was just wondering why it was built in to the forum. I think I understand a little better. You can delete this thread now if you like. I am not sure if I can.

Frankly, it is one of a coupla dozen features that came in the store package. John, the site's owner, has a lovely twisted sense of humor and he liked the idea.... nuff said?

I was just wondering if anyone could shed some light on why cpf has this thief feature? Thanks all
