Ive recently had problems with mine, when you go to turn it on, does the initial power screen show, but not load up the phone, or does it just do nothing.

The problem I had was the phone got overloaded with stuff, and just wont turn on, I had to send it out for repairs (who knows if it will actually get fixed).

Now I'm going to assume though since you tried to put the newer software on yourself, it will void your warranty, so I would say go to your provider and see if they will fix it.

I take it nobody has any experience with this problem *sigh*

Ok so I just did a ROM update to the latest available firmware and after installation I did my reset as requested by the update software and my phone won't turn on

Anyone had this problem or know how to do like a super special "hard" reset???

I need mah phone! Thx in advance.
