Oops sorry. Uploaded the wrong one. I was messing with a wav file to get it into a midi by converting it, but it didn't come out right. I thought since that score of music sounded midi-ish it would have converted better. I'll give it another shot tomorrow. If you have a better converter, I'll upload the original wav file. Sorry to get your hopes up. Might be back to the old drawing board.

I don't know yet I'm waiting for your file host to quit advertising to me and let me dl the file! Hidden Content

OK I'm getting excited... that was EXACTLY the right song, but what format is this? Definitely not a 4MB midi file, and I had to change the extension a few times and try 3 media players for it to play.

This is the right song, it sounds perfect, but now can you get it in MIDI format for me? Hidden Content

Just kidding, "bumping a thread" means that after your thread has fallen down the list below newer threads and posts, adding a reply to the thread "bumps" it back to the top of the thread list both in the forum and also in "today's posts". It's considered rude to bump a thread more than about once a day, unless you're actually replying to someone.

Occasionally you'll see someone reply to their own unanswered post with simply the word "bump" and we allow that as long as it's been 24 hours, but if it hasn't been very long the user will probably get a warning from a moderator and/or points deducted.

If you played all of them, you would have heard that the one you wanted was the second one. I heard the Casting Crowns - "Who Am I" first. The midi was JUST done by the person that did the midi, not the person/group that did the original song. All they did was to get sheet music and play the song on their keyboard/midi device, and saved the resulting sound file as an mp3.
Again, thanks for the effort bear. I went back, previewed the second tone, yes it was the right song. Infortunately, it's not the correct format. This is actually a low-bitrate mp3 recording of the midi they want you to buy. They record the polyphonic sound in mp3 format to prevent people from stealing their midis in the preview screen. I know a way to make my dad's phone play mp3 even though it doesn't technically support mp3, but even so, this mp3 file is about 10 seconds short of the preferable 30 second tone. I'll keep looking, but thanks again for trying Hidden Content

Nope didn't look forever, just searched for the name from the group, so I could hear it, then looked for the title, in midi format. Took all of ten mins I think after I read your post. The only thing was I was unable to find it saved in mid format. But did find the original song with vocals in several formats. Get ahold of me in AIM.

Oh and tried the attachment manager, didn't like the mp3 or wav Hidden Content

Thanks for sending that link to my phone via SMS, bear! unfortunately, it was a different version of the song by a different musician, and didn't sound like what I was looking for. But I do appreciate the effort, you must have looked forever to find it because that was more than I could find. The real tone seems to be everywhere but my dad's phone won't play the real tone... Thanks again for looking. Hidden Content

oh, if you ever need to attach a file to your post, the attachment manager is actually just below the "submit post" button off the screen, you'll see it if you scroll down far enough Hidden Content
