    Thanks for the reply... yeah I figured that I'd probably just have to go back to Verizon. It's such an ordeal though. Thanks!

    Take it back to the Verizon Store or call them right away! If the phone is new it should be covered under a manufacturer warranty even if you didn't purchase insurance, as long as it's a manufacturer defect. That's something Verizon is going to have to determine for you. Good luck!

    I just got my new a950 a few weeks ago and had no problems with it up until a couple days ago. I would notice that my phone would just randomly turn off while in my pocket. But more recently (yesterday and today), my phone turns off whenever I open and close it. It always starts back up, then if I open and close it again it turns off (again.) The only way to keep it on is to turn it on then close it quickly while it's still booting up.

    I am positive that it is fully charged as I have left it on the charger all night.

    Has anyone had any similar problems? I'm currently with Verizon Wireless.

    Any help would be greatly appreciated, thanks.
