Ok now its being worse when i download more ringtones i download the ringtone and wait for it to download and it says complete so then i exit the media browser and when i go through "my stuff" the sound file isnt on the list. While i was connected to the internet on my phone somehow i found a link for "my stuff" and went there and it had a list of all the ringtones i downloaded and there dates so it must be saved to the phone. So i have no clue whats wrong. If this is confusing i can restate it just ask.

you only have one ringtone as default when connected to a bluetooth headset, also keep in mind that you also have to set the ringtone you want for "loud" and "soft" as well.

Yes, if you are using a bluetooth headset you won't be able to use your custom ringtones, only a few of the default ones that come on the phone. Try disconnecting your bluetooth headset and see if it plays your downloaded ringtone.
