The only problem that ive seen is the when you use a 64k sim card is it does not have 600 contacts and if the fhone has group connect it does not work other than that ive had them tell me the same thing trying to get me to buy a phone from them.

Oh, ok. Well then that confuses me because Nextel/Sprint's site says that it wouldn't be compatible with the 7100i. Maybe I have a 64K card and 7100i requires a 128k card?

Can you buy the SIM Card for the 7100i from Nextel? And if so, how much do they rack you?

I am interested in getting a 7100i off Ebay and I just bid on one but realized it might not come with the SIM Card for it. Well at least the seller didn't state that. I did send him a question asking.

But in case I do win the auction (which I doubt cause people seem to bid outrageous amounts and pay way too much for these phones) how would I go about getting the proper one?

    Thanks

PS - I currently have the i860, before that the i830, and before that the i90c. What do you think would be the next best upgrade? The only phones at the next level up that I like so far are the i870 and i920. However those seem too bulky and too "busy". I'm worried all the crap on them would slow the phone down like a computer (i.e. Microsoft software that runs the i920 and all the media features/MP3 stuff on the i870. Please educate me on these 2 phones if I am totally off base on these speculations

So the next thing I saw that I like is the Blackbery 7100i. I like the idea of having a powerful organizer and more advanced tools for communications, plus the advantage of a huge screen, etc. etc. ALL the features appeal to me and I could use them all in my life.

    I'll take any input, thanks!
