I just got a Nokia 5140i as an upgrade to my current model 5210e.

There are couple of things I am having problems with and I wonder if anyone knows an answer:

1. On my previous phone, when I am stepping through my stored contacts, I can see the person's name AND their phone number on the screen at the same time. On the 5140i, I do not seem to be able to do this! I see just the name, even though the screen is bigger. To see the number, I have to press the central "select" button, which is inconvenient. Is there any way of changing this?

2. Although I switched off "wallpaper" etc, all the menu screens apart from the initial one have this really annoying pattern in the background. I just want a blank background, and I cannot see how to get one. Am I missing something?

This phone is annoying me so much it is going to get thrown in the rubbish bin soon if I can't resolve these problems. I got it as a free upgrade anyway, so I can just carry on with my old phone if I want.
