The best thing that I've found so far is the .qcp file type. You can convert any .wav into a .qcp with a free download from quallcomm's site. I use WavePad to edit my audio files, save the .wav as 8000 w/ 16 k/s and in mono. If you want more detailes instructions, go to Rumkin.com and look around, lots of good info there.

Hey I'm in Canada and I have the SCP 2300....(same as VI 2300). Anyway I'm just wondering what sound files are compatible with it. I know that it plays .midi for the polyphonic ringtones. But I downloaded a realtone and i'm wondering what file type that would be. I already know its not .amr or .mmf. or .wav . so if anybody out there knows that would be great.
