I have the I870 and so far I had the phone for 2 months and the only problem im having with the phone is its droping calls and the direct connect part freezes up? I talked with the motorola iden customer service and they told me to do a master reset and i did and it didnt work. They told me to call back monday and they will send me a new phone. Also the memory card dont work for my phone because my sister's husband tried the card in his phone and it didnt work for him.

don't know anything about the sidekick but i love my i870

me, i use both. lol dont know if i could make a decision on either one, dont think i would get rid of either....

Here's the pros on both phones.... I870 has a mp3 player, you can watch videos, make videos, and take pictures. Sidekick, is a better internet machine, and instant messenger. I would go for the 870, that's just my opinion though. I like the 870 better, and being that I own one, I use all it's capabilities to the fullest, especially bluetooth. It's so convienient....
