    Well, Sprint and Nextel are releasing there new hybrid lines, which will run on the CDMA Sprint Network with the Nextel 2-way active!

    it may sound like it.. but not true... 8700 is cdma based from sprint... Nextel is not cdma.... and it was supposed to be announced this past monday... and was not.
