    I have a LG c1300 and I get my ringtones from Cingular.com and when I get um on my phone it's says mmf. as the format

    It depends on what model phone you have. If it's a Sprint LG, it requires .qcp (qualcomm purevoice) files for realtones, or you may be able to trick it into playing an mp3 by giving the file a false extension (I replace the .mp3 with .qcp and my phone recognizes the file, plays it perfectly). The false extension trick is preferable to converting the file, because qcp files sound pretty lame.

    I have been trying and trying to send ringtones to my phone but nothing is working. So far the only type of file that has worked has been a midi, but I want a realtone. Does anyone know of the file types that work? (like .wav, .mp3, etc.)
