I've just returned from a T-Mobile store where I purchased a Nokia 6010 phone, a case, and 1,140 minutes for a bottom line of $199.99 plus tax. I'm sure there's better deals out there, but I don't have time to explore as I'm about to take another trip and need the phone now. Thanks Bourn Identity for the help!

I guess I'll be posting messages in other forums as I try to figure this thing out!

Wal-Mart, most local T-Mobile Dealers and Target are a few. You can a prepaid kit with a Nokia 6010 phone and few minutes start out with for around $40 at Wal-Mart.

    $25 - 130 min.
    $50 - 400 min.
    $100 - 1000 min.

Once you spend $100 on your account you will become a Gold Rewards member. Which means, you will get 15% more minutes with all refills and each refill card won't expire for a full year.

    Hello,

I'm not a cell phone owner, but I am technically inclined so any new concepts thrown at me here hopefully won't be a problem. I've been browsing various cell provider pages and all I can find is monthly plans. I rarely need a cell phone, so monthly plans are really a waste of money. What I'd like to find is a phone with a phone number provided and maybe 500 minutes (or thereabouts) that can be used at any time with no additional fees. When these 500 minutes are exhausted, I'd like to be able to buy 500 or so more. I will be travelling out of my coverage area from time to time, so I will need roaming (if that's what it's called). Also, I'd like caller-ID and voice mail, although neither of these are critical.

Can anyone tell me where to find a phone and plan such as I've described above? Note that cheaper is better!

    Thanks, Bill
