Close to the top right-hand side of the page there is a window that reads something like:

Or are these differnt stores than the ones im calling?

Also is that price with a plan included?

What do you mean tmobile direct?

Is that a store that sells to the public, or do you mean thats the price that each tmobile store buys them for..then sells the to the public for a little more?
Yes, I'm sorry $479.99. I said $379.99 Don't know what I was thinking. Direct T-Mobile stores are owned by T-Mobile, unlike indirect or authorized dealers who prices may vary. The $479.99 is without a contract.

    sorry, for the two threads.

I was trying to get the best answer and I figured if someone here didnt know someone there would.

Anyway, am I asking for too much hoping the price is 399.99?

Does anyone know of a god place to get a good price on this phone?

The best price I can find is: $449.99.

Compusa seems like a good price for the MDA without a contract. I think T-Mobile direct stores are selling them for $379.99 full price. You can run into some really good deals on Ebay, but they probably don't have warranty and you can't get them insured through T-Mobile. If you do decide to go with Ebay, make sure the seller has a good rating.

Ok, so ive been researching this phone and I see on Tmobiles site it has a suggested retail price of 399.99.
it looks like that is the price before rebates and w/o contract. (hince the rebates would be for the contract right?)

Compare RIM Blackberry handhelds, T-Mobile Sidekick II, and other PDAs

I bid on one last night, but it went for 345...SO I figured I would just go buy it new, for only 399.99 like the site said. Did I fall for misleading advertizing or was I just nieve?

So ive been calling the places tmobile has on their site in my area and here is what ive gotten:

    tmobile store in mall 480
    comp use 449.99
    t mobiel store 479.99
another tmobile store...he told me it would be 500 or 600 and they never sell them outright. I told him the suggested retail on tmobiles site was 399.99, he said they are on ebay for 500, and he won one and sold it for 500 online...

    gee...check ebays finished items listing...
they go from high 200's to mid to high 300's Certainly not 500.

SO am I trying to get too good a deal, is the suggested retail value B.s.?
Am I barking up the wrong tree?
