Yes I’m sorry I found that silver uses this type of flash R4513 not the R374

Mine was locked to Movistar and I did read the tutorial to Flash my phone but like it says in the tutorial do it under your own risk then I unbranded my phone and not only that my son’s was the silver not with video feature we flash it with the same one that I used, and know he has video on it I use this one (code removed by mod, too much potential for someone to mess up their phone!) don’t try it if you don’t know how to flash

Anyway there is a flash for cingular carrier you just got look for it ……..can I say where?

I would suggest what elleindigo did. Visit your local cell phone shop and see if its an unlocking issue or a SIM issue

yep thats true! he didhave a huge ebay store. his service was excellent!! though the phone totally broke in like 3 months though, now i have a new l6 !!!!

I would contact the guy who sold it to you on ebay. i purchased a treo 600 from a guy who accidently sold me the tmobile version of the phone(i have cingular) and he refunded me and let me keep the phone! so i took it down to this cell phone repair shop and got it unlocked to cingular.

i bought a Slvr l7 last week and got it in a couple days ago from ebay. It says it is an unlocked cell phone and would work for my carrier (cingular). I put in my sim card and i make one phone call, but the phone loses service. from that point on i have not been able to get service anywhere, and it just seems like the phone is locked. I took it to my carrier and he said it is a european version but there should be no problem with making calls. i am now feeling i got screwed from this guy at ebay. im new at this, and i dont know what to do. helpp !! thanks
