I doubt that, highly doubt that. I have an A620 I got for free lying around somewhere, and it's a nice little phone, no problems with it... (now if i can only find it )

It may be that the charger port is broken. Check that first.

That phone is known for acting crazy. I have had more customers come in with that phone because of it messing up, than customers come in asking for RAZR accessories(okay, maybe I'm over exaggerating a little ). Most likely the phone is gone and unrepairable, sorry for the pictures but I would strongly consider upgrading.

It MAY have water damae, if that happened, you really have no hope... BUT, let it sit OFF charger for 2 days and see what happens

Help!! My daughter's Samsung A620 is acting crazy. When its charged it will come on for a few seconds and then power back off. Took it to the local Sprint PCS store, but they seemed more interested in selling us a new phone than repairing it. They indicated that it wasn't the battery, because they checked the battery. Problem is, her phone directory and some very special pictures of our family dog that passed away are on that phone, so we would very much like to get it fixed - at least so that she can download the pictures and get phone numbers of her friends. Anyone out there with suggestions??? There is a small crack on the right side toward the top and I notice that when you flip it open, the whole top on that side opens a tiny slit. Don't know if it can be repaired or at least the board taken out and the pictures and data recovered, or if that would cost the equivalent of a lamborghini. Please help....
