Hop-on was originally supposed to sell cheap, disposable cell phones. However, many people wonder about it. The CEO was indicted on fraud charges for another company he started, and the early phones, at least, were really just nokias in a new wrapper.
Supposedly, according to one article, they have sold a bunch in India, but just how true any of that is, is up in the air.

I was surfing the web and ran across Hop-on Inc.
They aparntly make a variety of GSM and CDMA phones.

Now.. I searched the site and really didn't get much.

but whats their story? Are they an OEM dealer to one of the major cellular providers such as Sprint or Verizon? Are their phones sold unbranded or what? They didn't have any purchase informaiton on their website.

How can they sell unbranded/unlocked CDMA phones when most CDMA providers won't activate them?

So many 3rd party cell phone manufactueres out there with interesting products that we can't even use with Verizon or sprint
