my battery when i got it would last half a day, but now it last nearly two days even using the mp3 player a lot. I don't text a whole lot like it sounds that you do so I can't really comment on that but I have never noticed any significant drain from the texting i do. The only time the battery sucks down really fast is if it goes to roam. Then it lasts about half a day.

The A900 is actually what I was originally looking at. However I heard that like with Verizon's RAZR, the battery charge is extremely low, especially when using the MP3 player feature and text messaging feature. Also that there is more than likely not going to be an expanded life battery released for it.

A friend of mine has the A920. It is very good if you want to use it for an mp3 player as it has the expansion card. The A900 which I have I think has way better sound quality and volume but with no expansion card you can only hold about 15 songs. So overall, storage capacity and number of songs the A920 would win out.

The Samsung A920 is a really nice phone, I especially like its stereo speakers. IMO that'd be the way to go, but here are a few other models to consider: Compare Phones (Phone Scoop)

I was just curious, is the A920 from Samsung the better choice for a phone with an MP3 player if that and the text messaging are what I'm mainly concerned with as far as a phone goes? I'm actually in the process of deciding whether I want to switch providers and go to Verizon or not (I really like the LG the V), but I figured if I stayed with Sprint, that was probably what phone I'd be going for. Just looking for opinions and advice. Thanks!
