take off back cover, remove battery, you can see a little white card, I usually use a small screwdriver, or golf tee and just push on it gently until it slides out the side.

i will try to switch sim cards today when i get my new phone, i'm giving my daughter my phone and i want to put her sim card in the i860 i'm giving her. if i remember taking the sim card out of the i730 is a little tricky, if it's to much of a problem i'll take it to a nextel store. thanks everyone

The i95 and i90 and older phones are Condor phones & use condor sim cards.

the i7xx and i8xx phones are Falcon phones and sims.

The Condor series phones have two numbers in the model number such as i55sr, i85s, i95cl, etc. The Falcon series phones have a three numbers in the model number such as i205, i275, i605, etc. All new Nextel phones are Falcon series phones. I believe its 32 card and a 64 card.

G2g, could you enlighten us? It would be really cool if you post a new thread to explain condor sims vs falcom sims (not to mention the differences with the phones)? I've never heard before that Nextel uses two different types of SIM card, but I'm sure you know more about it than I do, thanks for correcting me!

Well, if you're not sure what you're doing, you should google your user manuals and read the sections about inserting and removing your SIM. Careful not to touch the gold part of the SIM! Any Nextel SIM card will work in any Nextel phone, plain and simple (see EDIT). It's not hard to do, but google is your friend.

    EDIT:
