i found this out today, when you tap it while its in your pocket it will vibrate a little, it makes me feel like im gonna brake it or something, my LG never did that, and about when you grip it, it just squeaks a little because the battery needs a little breathing room so the cover isnt 100% flush with the battery

I like this phone...better than all the other phones ive had. all the buttons on mine are working fine. i actually think that the a930 is sturdier than most phones...thats just my own opinion tho =)

I have owned my A930 for about 2 weeks now, and I love it, the earpiece quality is definitely better than my old A650, I felt that the overall quality is actually quite impressive.

sounds to me that you got a beta test model or something...
well if you had a previous cell phone, was the speaker as bad?
you cant say its bad if its your first phone.
i would get insurance and make it have an accident, if you know what i mean, or if its been less than 15 days go exchange it at veri '''Z.. on

I would also like to add that when you call or someone calling in, the speaker that you put your ear on is poor quality. It makes a constant rattling noise when someone talks or even when you are making a call and listening to the ringing. Not sure again if this is just me, please people with the A930, check this out for me.

yea i just got this phone today, that button is fine, same as all other speakerphone buttons, really it is.
it was a huge upgrade from my LG vx somethin(the phone EVERYONE had)
i wanted to be different it was the V3m or this and i liked it enough and it was original, actually i REALLY wanted the a970, but its $250 and old...

as for the quality im a little dissapointed, its just a little thick, and the spring is wierd wish when it was closed it would lock or click but doesnt the middle hinge is really big but the camera flips around....

love the front screen, it looks really good and flush when its off, almost like its not a screen, but cant see it when its in sunlight,

my vcast wont connect and im in a major city.....
hmm, i got like two bars of service, btu there are two things that keep changing, im gonan have to learn about that...

I HOPE TO BE POSTING ALOT IF THIS PHONE IS USER FRIENDLY, IF YOU KNOW WHAT I MEAN....

hey fellas im new to this board and i just recently got my Samsung SCH-A930. There is just a few quality features that I want to verify with these phones.

    1. Does the speakphone button on the side of the A930 seem a little loose? I mean the button works but it feels flappy and not rock solid like the volume changer button on top.

    2. when you press and hold the phone does it seem like the phone itself feels kinda loose? (Like when you slight hold the phone tight and it makes sorta like a slight squeeling noise?

I know I got the phone brand new, but I just want to make sure its like this on most of the a930s.

Please any replies is greatly appreciated!
