seem editing is easy as pie ...if you screw it up, you just save the original and put it back the way it was ...go to these & read ...software is free...

thanks. I don't do any editing or stuff like that on my phones. Don't know what I am doing so I figure it's best to leave it alone. My son mentioned turning it down before turning off/on. That's what they'll have to do. Just seems dumb that you can't just go in turn it off. I could on my old phone! Thanks again.

The only way to do that on the V3c, at least the model offered by Verizon, is by editing the phones software or seems. You will find details on this procedure by using the search feature in the forums.

Of course there is any easier way to deal with the "inconvenience". Turn the volume down to "vibrate" before turning the phone off. This will also keep the phone quiet when you turn it back on.

My hubby and son have razr v3c's. I want to turn off the music that plays when you both turn on and off the phone. Cannot find how to do it. I know on other phones we have had, it is an option in the settings menu and sound. However, I cannot for the life of me find anything on these phones that allows me to do this. It is just inconvenient if you get in somewhere and then realize you need to turn your phone off. Thanks for any help you can give me.
