I had the same problem with a friend of mine. She was on the receiving end (kept getting the same message, although not as frequently). She took the battery out, waited a minute or so, then put the battery back in. That seemed to solve the problem for her. Not saying it will work, but it's worth a try.

About 5 days ago I sent an sms, from the UK, to a friend, who was in America, on a Canadian or USA mobile contract. This message didn't send properly, it was received by her phone and is still being received by her every 3 or so minutes for the past five days. It is the same message that is being sent & I have been able to send her other messages with no other problems.

I deleted the offending message from my outbox and sent messages folder to no avail.

I have spoken to my provider, Orange, who said that there was nothing that they could do as it had left my phone and is now 'stuck' in the message centre and is still being sent "because they centre has not been told by your friend's phone that the message has been received, hence, it is still being sent and there's nothing that can be done by Orange" !!!!! SO ANNOYING!!!!!

My friend has spoken to her provider and has been told that nothing can be done.

As you can imagine this is extremely irritating for her.

Does anyone know what can be done? or who I could possibly contact/email to stop the major problem out?

Please offer any help to remedy this problem or point me in the direction of another forum that may be better suited for this problem, and as you can imagine, time is of the essence so please don't hesitate to reply.

Many thanks in advance for any help.

    Cheers

    A
