I thought the P207 was exclusive to Cingular but if you have other network branding, then obviously im wrong.
The problem with network 'exclusive' handsets is not that they cant technically be flashed (unbranded), but the fact that as they are exclusive, then there isnt an alternative flash file in existence.
If youre a pc genius (geek lol) then it may be possible to customise a branded flash file to install to your phone but thats extremely advanced, and way over my head lol.

    Hello!

I'm new here, and glad I stumbled upon this forum.

I'm looking for information on how to UNBRAND a Samsung phone. It's a P207 (though the person who sold it to me called it a P209 -- does that even exist?) and it's a Rogers Wireless phone. I took it to a kiosk in the mall where they do unbranding, but the guy there told me it's a Rogers-specific phone and that it cannot be unbranded.

I'm sure there's a way of doing it... can anyone help me out?

    Thank you very much!
    Maggie
