Yeah it's the newest version. The "connect PC" hasn't nothing to do with anything so scratch that too. The guys from BitPim said on there site that they haven't got there hands on a A900 to play around with and that's why it's not in the software yet. I should still be able to access the filesystem for the phone, shouldn't I?

Scratch the USB thing, I just didn't have the drivers installed correctly. The version of bitpim I have is 0.9.05. I did run into another problem though. The phone I have is the samsung A900. In bipim it detects the COM port for the samsung modem but when i choose "connect to PC" on the phone, bitpim quickly recognizes it as a "inoperable port". Any ideas? This phone isn't listed under the phone types. Is that a problem?

    thanks

You'll have to be more specific with the version number of bitpim, your phone, etc.

I've tried using bitpin and it won't recognize my USB ports (could have something to do with my comp). Is DataPilot any better then bitpin? Can datapilot still get into NVM folders?

    thanx
    jason
