So in that respect... you can manually use Bluetooth with bitpim to transfer files directly to the phone... I used bitpim over BT yesterday and was able to view the filesystem on my vx8500.

Has anyone tried bitpim and directly transfering to the filesystem? I know that on my vx8500 i can see the entire filesystem.. there are many interseting directories on there and bitpim has the option to upload files.

As for the problem with some songs not showing. Make sure there isn't any foreign characters in the song title, also make sure that the song title doesn't have over 12 character names.

    Example:

thisisovertwelvecharacters.mp3 <---that is over twelve as they are all touching, and therefore the phone won't recognize it.

this is over twelve characters.mp3 <----- same title, but with spaces, not one word is the twelve limit rule.
does the same go for videos as well?

As far as I know, Verizon doesn't let you transfer any objects over bluetooth besides microsoft business cards or whatever they're called.
