    Best things about the sidekick:
    mp3 player.
    upgradable/changeable memory card.
    nice big, clear, clean screen.
    Great keyboard.
    Fast data speeds.
    trackball for nav/browser.
    aim, msn, yahoo IM.
    Great calender system.
Download and change themes (skthemes.com for examples).
pretty damn stable OS, havent had a problem yet.
    hot keys.
And so much more. I love mine.

The phone is great for fast messaging. Also the speakerphone is great when using the sidekick as a phone.

Only Phone calls would work if you used it in canada (unlocked) There is different settings and different sim cards for the Sidekick II.

Quick question about it though... if I get an unlocked one and use it in Canada... can I use the internet and AIM/MSN on it, or will the internet not work?

My experience is, you don't think you'll need any of the features, but once you have them, you use them constantly. I can't tell you how many times the Sidekick has saved me in school... ie: doing an assignment last minute and emailing it to the prof... PLUS IT GETS YOU THE HONEYS

Yeah, I was curious too. I want a SKIII and not alot of my friends/family text alot, and none of my friends have AIM (no one in Canada uses AIM). So, now I don't really see a point in getting one anymore other then the cool factor.
