Therein lies the problem Robb.
I go to the download centre on Samsung.com, enter x640, and in the results the only choices under the software tab are file manager, PIM and internet access (the other tab, who's heading I can't remember, just has user manuals in various languages).
Are the drivers in a different area and if so where?

Hi all,
My question has probably been answered on here numerous times. I've read many threads though I cannot find exactly what I'm after, so if the following is a repeat I apologise in advance.
I recently bought the above phone and wish to transfer photos etc to my PC.
I've purchased an aftermarket USB cable and installed the Samsung PIM and File Manager software. My PC though does not see the phone and the MS Install New Hardware Wizard says it cannot find a driver for the new device.
Downloads on the Samsung site for this phone model are limited to the above mentioned software - or at least they are where I've been looking. After reading other threads on here I'm guessing I need something called EasyGPRS...is this a driver?
Any help (or a download link!) will be greatly appreciated.
