I have the same problem, however I am looking into purchasing a smartphone because I do need the PDA features and a phone, and why not the rest of the bells and whistles? Although they may not be necessary, I could probably make use of them.

I'm getting tired of carrying a PDA and a cell, but I'm not sure I need a full blown smartphone.

I'd like to sync contacts and calendar with my office desktop, but I don't need email. I'd need to be able to enter appointments and new contacts and sync back to the desktop.

Is this an impossible dream, or has Verizon Wireless limited my options to the point where I can't see straight? Would any Windows Mobile phone do this?

    Thanks!
