For those who use amazon.com, you can get free 2 day shipping if you sign up for amazon prime (only amazon items, not third party items). They have a 3 month free period, after which it is too expensive except if you order stuff regularly. I think the subscription is 80$ per year.

    That price included shipping.
I use ebay all the time, but I dont order from OS. I hate the wait.
You are riight though, I accidentallly ordered from OS and It got sent back.
had to file a claim, still waiting.
I got stuff from amazon with discounted shipping & long delivery.

Think I got data plan issues with this set up.

I used the trendnet BT adapter and it works fine with my PC and Razr.
I am sure you can get it cheaper at ebay, but then there is not gaurantee about the item shipped from some one you dont know, and you pay shipping costs, and most of the time you cant get warranty or it is not easy to get it replaced by the seller.
What I like about amazon is that you get free shipping with $25 order for most items. I usually buy a book or something to get it to 25.
Be careful about buying from out of US, most of the time warranties are not valid in the US for items sold in other countries. Many times is it illegal to sell items across countries unless the seller is a big company and has satisfied all the tax requirements like a US tax ID, etc.

Got my dongle off ebay for less than $10.
With it, I use the phone as a wireless modem:
For Nextel DUN type the number S=2 in the number to dial fieldis.
    Kbps is slow @ 115kpbs.
    and here's more
    Nextel | iM1100 Wireless Modem
You don't need the modem on this site,
plug in the dongle and install with enclosed cd and you'll figure the rest out.

Actually there's a store called www.ledshoppe.com that sells them for a couple bucks. You'll have to watch out for their sales though for further discounts. To Canada I think people get them shipped for under $10CAD....God knows how much you guys could get it for in the states.

Of course if you're a connoisseur (or just like to pay premiums for big name stuff) you'll die before using a no name. When in doubt, hook up with the BigStore unit by Kensington. Up here it's about $59CAD....or $29-if you catch the 50% off sales

PLEASE NOTE: Though I've heard many people voice complete satisfaction with this product, I've heard others mention their dissatisfaction-I haven't personally used this so I can't give my recommendation for or against. My Kensington however IS and Performs beautifully.
