Works perfect, no hassle so far (touch wood), wirelss is usually a dream to get working, the only hasle you'd have is with the net connection, with the ip's, but a quick way of taken the hassle off your back with that is make sure both routers are in the same ip range 192.168.x.y (x being the net number, and y being the machine), and if you just leave the DHCP on the dsl router, and it should be one already, and assign your comps to get an ip automatically, and you should have no hassle!

Thats pretty cool...how does your router/wireless setup work with everything in the theatre? its gonna prolly take me some time to setup everything in my house getting everything to work with each other and so forth.

Could get away with just the router, In the theatre i work in, i have a wireless setup for shows and to give people internet where they want, and i have a Netopia 3347WG setup, and it does the whole building itself, and its a big buildin, it even stretches a bit up the main street, so i had to put mac auth on it, had people in the pubs in town trying to use it, handy for me though, out drinkin and i can still get on the net, (geek)

I appreciate the layout on what to do...im gonna check into everything when i get up to tennessee to see how big the house is, from the way mom & dad told me it was bigger then my condo is...so im like how im gonna do this, i know a range booster is needed the most

Change http://dslrouter to the ip of the router, usually 192.168.1.254, so it would be http://192.168.1.254

And that ip is of the wireless router, you dont need to go into your DSL router at all, unless DCHP is enabled, and then you will have to go in to disable it, we'll come back to that if it needs doin.

And when to go in to configure the wireless router, all you'll need to do is set up a wep key(of find out if ones already set), and change mac address auth if you want.

    Here's a quick explination:

    1. Connect the coaxial cable to your cable modem
    2. Take ethernet (RJ-45) cable and hook the modem to the router
    3. If the PC's are wired, connect them
    4. The router will emmit the wi-fi signal
    5. If the laptop is in range, it will connect when prompted.

to configure the rounter, go into IE and type: http://dslrouter and it'll bring you to you router's configuration page!

    Hope this helps

are you just asking how to set it up... or configure it? If it's a big enough house, you may want to buy a range booster

Me & my dad are thinking about getting a new router and keep the wireless g router as back up one. We have 3 totoal computers we gonna be using my dad's gateway desktop and my gaming desktop and my dell d700 mini notebook. The place where we will be living at the owner of the big house we're moving into he's pretty cool and nice about what we are doing with the computers. What we need to do to run this brand new Linksys Wrt-300n wireless router? The internet connection we will be using will be comcast.
