From what I know is that u have to remove either the whole housing or just the flip area. I had to change the lcd screens from 3 diff cells from friends cause they didn't know how to do it. If you're lucky the cover has 4 little screws on the flip area (lcd section to the sides) if so then this is how you do it
    1. Remove the rubber protecting the screws (with a needle so it won't show later)
    2. Remove the screws and place them on a place where you won't loose them
    3. With a plain head screwdriver or a knive, cautiously try to pop the covers (becarefull not to cut or injure yourself) and remove top cover carefully because if u break the pins that snap in place after changing the screen then they won't seal correctly and you'll have to purchase a new housing for the phone
    4. After removing the back cover of the lcd section u need to move the lcd screen out of the way and push out the broken front lcd screen (caution when pushing out screen, they tend to break apart and can cut you)once u have removed the broken lcd screen, clean the area
    5. Remove the tape so u expose the sticky zone which will be sticking to where the old lcd screen was, place it and push the sides of it so it seals the sides.
    6. Put the phone back together and u should have a new screen installed.

Note: if the cellphone has no screws on the sides of the lcd section then you'll have to remove the whole housing. Let me know if this helps

I dropped my V180 and it developed a crack in the outside LCD screen even though it was in a leather carrying case. I purchased a new LCD screen insert on eBay from a company in Florida. I was hoping someone had changed this same screen and could offer me instructions in how a novice could do this job. I have already purchased a #6 torx screwdriver to remove the nuts. Thanks for any help. Hopefully this is not a major task. I was told by the company that this is relatively easy and does not require any soldering.
