GUYS! I want to make this clear. You can not put ring tones on phones issued from telus. It is not possible for this guy. With out major Modifications it is not currently possible to put ring tones onto your phone with a cable, blue-tooth, or wap.

    Sorry.

    have you installed MPT?
Once you have installed it, you can find instructions on here and/or browsing the net in order to know all the functions for mpt.
But, im sure one of the other users who uses MPT can tell you exactly how.

Hate providers that do this, Here in ireland vodafone are like that, you can put music on your phone but you cant set it as a ringtone, unless it's off their site, another reason why i go with o2, buy a phone of them and its unmodded, just a pure nokia phone, does everything it should

search around the net for motorola mobile phone tools.
that one will allow you to sync your phone and computer which will allow you to transfer the ringtones to your phone.

You are with telus. It is not possible without modifying your phone. Telus wants you to BUY the ringtones from their site. The only providers in Canada who allow you to download ringtones from a datacable/bluetooth/wap ect. are Fido and Rogers. Please post if you have any more questions.
