Thanks for the info on that! i gave my wife my 6230 when I got a Razr (HUGE MISTAKE) and she's been bugging me to get her a bigger card for it.

BTW, just ordered a 6682 so I guess I will be getting one for that too.

Oh, it's my frist post here, so hi to all.

I just installed a 1 gig MMC in my phone. It is a Topram card.

It is slow when I first start the music player, takes about 10 seconds for it to come up. After that there are no problems. Think it is scanning the playlist or something at startup. Got 220 songs on the card with room for about 30-50 more if I want.

No doubt. My 32MB card will only hold 5 songs at 192 kbps. Pretty lame...

That's what I did. I Noticed the phone slow down a little bit when accessing the gallery when I used a 1GB or higher, so I used a 512MB.

Did you have any issues with the 2GB card slowing your phone down? I just recently picked up a 6230 for dirt cheap, and didn't know it had a built in mp3 player until I went to install my SIM card and discovered the 32MB card MMC card that was already in it. I would like to get at least a 1GB card for it, but if a card of that capacity will cause my phone to be slow and sluggish, then maybe I will just pick up a 512MB mem card. Thanks in advance.

hello i am going to buy a larger memory card for my 6230. can anyone tell me what is the largest memory card it is compatible with? i have seen 4 gb mmc cards but i have doubts that the phone would support such a large capacity. thanks.
