You may want to try out the Blackberry 8100 that is coming out soon. Some of the stores already have a working demo of it so you can try it out before it comes out for sell.

I am not sure it will do everything you want it to do but it does alot for a Blackberry.

I can't believe that the T-mobile is the only service you can get out there. Did you try Cingular and Verizon? I heard both of them have very good coverage.

I just got the N73 cause I wanted a good camera. Price coming down - found mine for under $500. It's unlocked so now need to figure out which provider will be best for me. I don't use the phone much at all but email availability is vital to me and the camera too. Neat - all that stuff in one nice piece of equipment instead of carrying three things around.

Get the N73 because it's what you want. Shell out the extra money up front so that you can be satisfied knowing you have something you want for two years. It sucks to say, "Well, if I had waited one more paycheck, I could have gotten the other one and wouldn't be stuck with THIS problem..."

Thanks but I need GSM, as I am on T-Mobile and I can not change because no other service have coverage at my house. (and I mean no other service I have tried them all, either myself or via friend's phones)

Well I have a samsung A920 from sprint pcs and am very happy with both the phone and service. This phone has a 1.2 mega pixel camera, video capture and play back,mp3 palyer and expandible memory via transflash card. My phone had a 512k card in it now I don't know if you can go bigger than that on this phone. I do notice you want a quad band phone the A920 is only duel band, but unless you really need a quad band you might wanna give this phone a look. Also as a side note sprint offer plans with free incoming calls,I only get 500 outgoing peak minutes BUT after 7pm on weeknights and on weekends my calls are free plus I never get charged for any incoming calls. I hope this helps you out some.

(I asked this on another forum and got little help, so I thought I would try it here.)

Ok I have a Nokia 6600 phone with T-Mobile service.
I have been very happy with this phone, it is the best cell phone I have owned in the last 15 years, but it is getting sadly out of date.

So I need a new phone, I first thought of changing my service to Cricket but their coverage at my house sucks (1 bar or less) and I was not happy with the Kyocera Slider Remix even after searching all the reviews and reading all the specs, it did not perform the way I thought it would.

Anyway, here is what I am looking for; a good phone with a megapixel camera at least 2mp, built in MP3 player, some sort of expandable memory at least 1 gig, and quad band coverage. Of course the phone has to work on T-Mobile.

    The phones I am look at are;
    Nokia N73
Pro : everything I am looking for
    Con : pricey

    T-Mobile SDA
Pro : Lots of features (my brother has one and I've played with it)
    Price is great.
Con : camera sucks, 1.3mp and no flash

    Sony Ericsson K790i
Pro : has almost everything I want
    good price
    Con : Tri-band only, no 850 support.

    Sony Ericsson K790a
Pro : it is the phone I really want
Con : who knows when and if an unlocked version will ever be out (I do not want to wait six months or more)

    Sony Ericsson W810i
Pro : very nice features (thought the camera is only 2mp and the new 3.2s are out in other phones)
Con : reviews that I have read, state that the phone has poor call quality.

If anyone has any ideas or advice I would love to hear it, I am literary going out of my mind trying to figure out which one to get, also if anyone knows of a phone with the features that I want but that I have not listed here let me know and I will check it out.

    Thanks.
