On my carrier's site (sasktel) it says it has TV, ability to stream video. Do I need to be in a EVDO area or is 1x digital good enough for TV. Also is MobiTV a stand alone App or does your carrier have to supply it?

Welcome to CPF! As for the EVDO, ask your provider, they should provide you with the correct details about this. MobiTV is a carrier supported application, and if included, will be pre-installed into the phone.

My carrier just barley got the new a900 in. I've been looking at it since it came out with sprint. But up here in Canada it has taken its time to arrive. But now that its here I think I want it, but just a few feature related questions.

Photo Picture ID/Phone book. I've read many things on these forums and else where on the a900's issues with photo ID and the phone book. First off, does the a900 have photo ID and display the picture on the external display?

I've read that if you just type 555-555-5555 (without the 1) as the phone number it fixes the problem. It would be a real bummer to not be able to have the external display show photo ID.

Razr VS a900, it seems the a900 is a more feature rich phone, and I like the design a little better, mostly cause its different. Any other great features that the a900 has over the razr.
