    I just bought a Motorola V3i off Ebay which is a new unlocked phone. The interesting thing I found was that if I was in a area with a weak signal the phone would search out a stronger signal and switch to that carrier. I have Cingular service and have registered the carrier through the programming within the phone but I sometimes still get the switch.

    Hi Guys!

    I am looking into purchasing an unlocked phone, and I have Cingular. My first question is, after you purchase the phone (unlocked) what do you to do in order for it to work?
