    i use sony soundforge.
    just increase the bitrate to nothing lower than 56kbs. below that, and you're losing major quality

    I have made a ringtone for a D800 and on my D500 it sounds ok but on the D800 it sounds really tinny,any advice,i use mp3 directcut to crop it and then nero wave editor to jack up the volume a bit,what is the best way or software of making really clear sounding ringtones with mp3's,any advice would be much appreciated,thanks.
