Ok, now I see the problem. Not all bluetooth dongles are equal. Most phone manufacturers recommend that you use a brand name dongle, such as belkin. The discount brands oftentimes do not work well with cell phones. Also, sometimes wifi or a portable phone will interfere with the connection. Make sure that the dongle is well away from that interference.

i bought a bluetooth dongle for my PC to send files wirelessly from my pc to my cingular 2125 intead of using my usb all the time. I can seem to get it connected while my freinds fone conects.

I am not sure if you are a little confused over the terms, or the process.
Discoverable is part of pairing bluetooth devices, it has nothing to do with the actual file transfer. Also the bluetooth dongle is for the PC, not the phone.
Once the phone is paired with the pc, the easiest way to transfer files would probably be using active sync.
Or you could go to the file on the phone you want to transfer and select beam to send it.

Hi everyone i just purchased a bluetooth dongle for my cingular 2125 phone. I seem trouble connecting to it. My phone is on discoverable but when i try to send files it doesnt work. I tried my friends razr phone and that worked. Any suggestion?
