As for getting ring tones on your phone without going through Bell, you can download software widely available online, such as BitPim, and you can upload ring tones to your phone that way, with the data cable you purchased. Just google search BitPim and it'll come up with the info you're looking for.
I tried BitPim but, they don't currently offer support my phone. I checked both Bell and Sprint since the same phone is offered by both companies. Thanks for the suggestionis

Im totaly new to this but want to know is there any way to get free ringtones and how do i go about it. I purchased data cable and it came with software and drivers. The phone was detected by xp but the software could not detect the phone. Do i have choices other than paying Bell Mobility. Also when downloading ringtones from bell am i charged for the tone plus the time on the web for downloading, if so its rather costly
