    Depends more on our earphones I think If the phone comes with a normal audio plug (not a phone-specific one) then usually, it will sound just as good as an ipod. If not, check cnet.com reviews, they usually mention quality of provided earphones in there.

    The more important question is the storage size of the phone. Some are sexy and small, but can only hold 20-30 songs :S

    It depends what phone you buy. In general, the music on a phone sounds pretty clear - just without as much bass on loudspeaker. Through the headphones though, I can't tell the difference between my K750i and a real MP3 player!

    I'm interrested in buying a cell phone but it would mostly be to listen to music, so I was wondering, does the music/mp3s on cell phones sound great ?
