    Never heard that, but I don't have a SK to try it on, so I can't proove that wrong.

    But T will not unlock the SK for you. They will unlock any phone but the SK.

    Although I agree with Brad as you won't be able to do anything with it but talk and text if you put it on another network, such as Cingular. If you're unlocking it because you're leaving the country, then just stick with T's WorldClass service.

    Why would you want to unlock a sidekick? T-Mobile is the only provider it works with in the US (unless you find someone who carries the Hiptop they might be able to activate the sidekick using the hiptop's data settings). Otherwise, it'll only work as a phone with none of the data features available.

    Umm i think T-Mobile will unlock your phone if you have good credit and have had the phone for at least 90 days. Call them and see what happens.
