i had this same problem arise in the past week with the same set... thankfully my contract just ran out though so i went in today and upgraded to a nice 6280

are ur internet and mms setting done? is this a recent problem? were u able to send text messages be4?

I get that error once in a while when there is bad coverage. I live in the woods. I would contact your carrier concerning this problem if you have coverage. They have a wealth of info on the phones.
