    he only has to "delete the pairing" from his phone which is in the bluetooth menu.... as far as the car, he doesnt need to delete anything, just re-pair it with a phone. that prolly involved turning it off and holding the power button PLUS another button till the blue light stays on, letting you know its in pairing mode....
