Ahh, thank you very much. I will dig further into this "phonescoop".

I wanted to know what you're using now so I could see what you have and what you could use.

Suggestions: Samsung A930, LG VX8300, or a Motorola V3m. Those are the few I looked at that have USB.

For more info, check out PhoneScoop.com. They have all the info about phones. Use the compare feature to compare your phone to others (like I did). Hope that helped!

Haha, whoops. VX6000. But my current phone is kind of irrelevant. I am getting a new phone and the only feature I want is to be able to make songs on my computer and move them to my phone via a cable and use them as ringtones.

There's no such thing as the VX6800. If you'd relook your phone and tell me the actual model number, I'd be able to help more.

    Hey all,

New to the forum and looking forward to learning lots but right now I have a real quick question for you all.

I currently have a LG VX6800. Now, I don't really need a super nice phone, but I liked my 6800 because I purchased a cable and then made my own ringtones and pushed them through the cable using bitpim.

Now, I would like a phone that I can make my own ringtones on. Just buy a cable and use a program and make them like I was able to on my 6800. If you have any suggestions and/or questions. Post up please. Thanks!
