1) I feel largely helpless about what our country is doing right now. Every single instance of someone telling George Bush that they disagree with what he is doing, he doesn't listen. There have been several cases of people being escorted away from the president for having a difference of opinion. What can I do to change anything when my government won't listen to me? I've tried writing letters to congress, but I have yet to get a response of any kind.

2) As much as you'd like to shut me up, you can't. Not unless George Bush decides to revoke that privilege in addition to all of the other rights he's taken away. I've thought about going elsewhere, but at this point in my life, it's not an option. If our country continues down the road it's on, you can bet that I'll be one of the first people to get out of the country when I can because I'll enjoy the value of my dollar while it's still good. This also kind of scares me. As a United States citizen, my government is supposed to listen to my opinion...but, as I mentioned before, the government could care less about what I think. They are too worried about their own agenda to worry about what the population actually thinks. That's why their pay and retirement packages are as good as they are. The whole system needs to be flushed out and started fresh. If our founding fathers were able to see what a ridiculous circus our government has turned into, they would be embarrassed.

I would like to explain a few things about my opinion. I do not agree with everything our legislature does. I dont think we should be at war with an entire country. I think we needed to go get the people responsible for the 911 attacks and do away with them permanently. As for the rest of the troops they need to be home protecting our country. Furthermore i dont agree with everything George Dubya does but its not totally his fault he does not have complete and total control over everything our country does. But i am a firm believer that if you dont like what this country is doing to preserve our freedom, Yours and Mine, You have two choices

1.DO something to change it, Im not talking about standing at a dead soldiers funeral with a sign Im talking about get out and vote or become a politician.

2.Shut up and leave

We all have choices in our lives and we are the only ones that can make them Right or Wrong There up to us.

I fully agree.

Also, there is a point that Americans have put themselves more at risk for these attacks than other countries. The USA has made international decisions that have affected other countries. Sometimes these decisions were made, how shall I put is, arrogantly.

Now this is not to say that the USA "deserved" any terrorist attack, don't get me wrong here, those @$$holes can burn in hell. However, I do believe that the USA needs to change how they play themselves on the world stage, so they can get rid of the anti-American sentiment they have in a majority of the world.

At a time when this country has suffered a domestic attack resulting in the deaths of over 6000 innocent Americans, it seems an rather odd and unfortunate occasion for other "so-called Americans" to blame the United States for horrible tragedy. So may i say to all those liberal and ultra-liberal weeniesget the hell out of my country!!!!

It galls me to know that several generations of brave Americans lost their lives in the horrors of war so that you may have the right to freedom of speech just to mock their sacrifice. A bunch of pointy headed liberals swimming in those brainwashing think-tanks, like UC Berkeley and closer to home, that commie cesspool ofunc-Chapel Hill, poison the minds of our more gullible and susceptible young people. They're convinced it's the "MTV" thing to do to go out and paint a sign and protest something that you really don't know diddley squat about. And the self-congratulatory, back-patting jackasses in the liberal media let these empty heads get on the air and babble about the plight of the people in Afganistan. Let me ask you this, how do they know anything about life in Afganistan when they have zero life experience here in the United States? And what about the lives of the people killed in the terrorist attack on America? Oh, that's right. I almost forgot. It's "our fault." Hey, if you jugheads are so worried about the people of Afganistan, why don't you do something about it? Sell that groovy sportscar mommy and daddy bought you and encourage your other pals to do the same and start a fund to help them, but you won't. Because like everything else in your life, you just want to complain about it until someone else steps up to the plate. You make me, and every other true American, sick!

Here's a news flash, Brainiac: other than the other un-American turncoats that are cheering you on, nobody is listening. You know why? Because we're too busy standing up for America to pay any attention to a bunch of Benedict Arnolds like ya'll. I may not agree with what you say, but I will defend to the death your right to say it. But not everybody is as generous as me. I would hate to see it happen, but don't blame me, or any other American, if you wind up on the business end of a good ol' fashioned American butt-whooping.
